Argent Liability Adjusters was created in 2003 by experienced insurance sector professionals in response to client and market demand for a new, national specialist adjuster.
By building the new business around an existing niche adjuster, Goldsbury International, Argent Liability Adjusters was able to achieve momentum quickly, making an immediate market impact.
The hand-picked team of adjusters specialising in all aspects of liability and construction has grown steadily, building a national network of offices with specialists adjusters working closely with clients.
In 2010, Argent Liability Adjusters and Carmichaels Property Loss Adjusters were brought together when Argent’s parent company, Parabis Group, acquired a controlling interest in Carmichaels. The time was right for Argent to diversify. The complementary specialities of each business and the reputations both enjoy for quality and strong client service, has created a leading player in both the liability and property adjusting markets.
Carmichaels, established in 1985, specialises in high value and complex property claims involving commercial and domestic property, major and complex losses, business interruption and environmental claims.
Argent’s parent company, the Parabis Group is an innovative legal and professional organisation delivering a wide range of services to the insurance, travel and related industries.
